PATRICIA “TRISH” SMITH, LCR, RPR, CCR

Trish is a graduate of Nashville State Technical Institute and received her certificate of proficiency in Court Reporting Studies from Tennessee State University in 1985. She began her reporting career with Nashville Court Reporters in 1986, working in most every area of the freelance arena, as well as completing the Caption Masters Series Retraining Program for CART/Captioning offered by The University of Mississippi.

Trish is licensed by the State of Tennessee and holds certification as a Registered Professional Reporter from NCRA and certification as a Certified Court Reporter from TCRA. Service to the reporting profession is very important to Trish, and she has served several times as a Board member of TCRA, as well as chairing several state conventions. In June 2010, she completed a three-year term, having served as immediate past president in 2009-2010.
